Choosing among too evils
Has been a key to our survival
And I cherished every moment of my ignorance

When did we get off track
The damage has been done
I just want my leverage back!
How did we get so far
This isn't how we planned it
But now I understand
I just want what my father had
This one time can we add
Some decency; some integrity;
Is that really so much to ask!
